The Belleville Connection (BC) is a consumer resource specifically designed for the Belleville residents and consumers interested in the Belleville area. Unlike most other web sites, BC has what you need locally.  Consumers benefit from a search site that delivers local resources from automotive to travel without searching the world wide web, where much of the information is located in another state or beyond the local driving area. Primarily a service for local information, resources are also provided to access information beyond the local area if needed.  Businesses benefit from the increased local customer traffic generated by consumers identifying and utilizing the local businesses, which might otherwise go unnoticed. For as little as $10.00 a month you can have a presence here! 

 Available Options Include:

• A site search that makes locating local businesses and important information as easy as a click of the mouse. Local businesses can advertise and list their contact information, which will be displayed for consumers by major product category or by searching the keyword database. Information retrieved would be name, address, phone, (business web site link if available) and the option for the user to display a street map indicating the business location within the local area) Businesses can select the keywords which best reflect the areas their clientele would search for to identify their business.  Keyword search includes business name, address, category and all keywords specified as appropriate.

• Click on maps to help consumers quickly locate your business. Initial map resolution can be adjusted to provide the most appropriate level of detail depending on street density of business location.

• Rotating ads, so that no ad is ever permanently located at an undesirable location. The business card locations are modified every second so each time a visitor displays the page it will have a different arrangement to provide the visitor a different view with each visit.  This will also provide greater visibility for each subscriber as the visitor will not get used to the same screen display and ignore the information out of habit. 

• Periodic web link verification for all listed links, will ensure your site and all BC links are accessible or available to others, reporting broken links to the registered administrator or email recipient.
  

• Classified Ads free for a limited time and then at very reasonable rates, featuring always free yard and garage sale ads attracting more visitors to the web site. Classified ads (which can include photos of items) have been implemented to attract consumers to the site and provide businesses with an alternative method of moving inventory, possibly promoting slow moving inventory or offering discounts during slow business hours to attract additional business.
  

• Coming soon : Classifieds notification, which will notify any user (signed up via email) when new ads have been placed.  This will keep bringing customers back to the site and using it for their shopping needs.  Also will help promote your new listings so when you add a classified then email is sent to all registered users interested in that category or possibly all categories.

• Community Information providing easy access to local government, important phone numbers including Police and Fire, area hospitals, schools, upcoming events, the area library and much more.

• Access to Local and National Shopping. Including maps to local shopping.
   

• Today’s local and marine weather, winning lotto numbers, daily horoscopes, area boat launches, parks, and churches are just a few of the many resources available.
  

• We are continuously enhancing the web site to increase it’s attractiveness to the local residents and promote additional resources.  Soon to be released enhancements currently in development include:
  

•    Listing your business email address with your local address for
   consumers wishing to submit an email to your business
  

•  As new cities have their local sites developed, links to the Belleville Connection will be included for the convenience of the surrounding communities
  

•     Electronic newsletter for distribution to anyone who submits their email address.  This may include information provided by local businesses like up coming sales, special offers or presence at local attractions or presentations.

 The Belleville Connection was developed and is maintained by K.R. Consulting, a full service Internet Services provider.
